Carp Crossing team member
personal best :Common 37lb 6oz/ Mirror 25lb 0oz
favourite venues :One of the many reasons I love living in the U.S. is that we have only scratched the surface of carp fishing. I have always found myself captivated by large wild waters, the unknown potential makes each capture special.
favourite rigs :I believe less is more when it comes to rigs, I like to keep things simple. A hair rig is my main rig of choice. In tougher conditions that is when I believe it is necessary to have a more advanced approach. This is when a chod, line aligner, or a blowback rig come into play for me.
favourite baits :Trilogy Carp Baits’ maize and tigernuts
other interests :
Photography, nature, video editing, and drawing
A big influence for me has been my brother, Austin. Without him I wouldn’t have caught my first carp, which started it all. He is the one who made me what I am today, I have him to thank for that. Fortunately, now I’ve been lucky enough to not only have my brother but now a few more friends that share the same passion as us. Fishing with them has allowed us to learn off of each other, and to better ourselves as anglers.
favourite music :
Hip-hop, rap, liquid DnB, country and classic rock
Something I dislike very much is my indecisiveness.
about me :
Fishing to me is about much more than just trying to catch fish, it hasn’t only changed the way I look at things but it has impacted my life greatly. It has taken me to beautiful places all over the world, where I’ve met lifelong friends. I’m truly grateful for that. There are certain aspects of fishing that we are lucky enough to experience that most people don’t get to appreciate: the journey behind each adventure, connecting with nature in a way others cannot, the determination that pushes us to our limits, the feeling of hard working paying off, and getting to share all of this with people who share the same passion as you. Fishing has truly made me a better person, and reminds me of what is important in life, which is something truly special.
